San Bernardino Republican Women will be welcoming California State Assembly candidate for District 45, Greg Abdouch, as the guest speaker at our September 13, 2025 meeting. We will be meeting at the Elks Lodge from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm to get to know the candidate.
He’s a husband, father, small business owner, community leader, and a proud Californian who has lived in San Bernardino County for over 45 years and the Inland Empire for more than 25. Raised in a close-knit, faith-filled family in Apple Valley, Greg learned early the values of hard work, humility, service, and putting your faith in God.
As a student-athlete and top baseball prospect, Greg faced a life-altering decision: pursue college sports or help support his family during a tough financial time. He chose family — a defining moment that speaks volumes about who he is. Years later, a near-death accident threatened to take his leg and mobility forever. Doctors told him he’d never walk the same again. But Greg refused to quit. With grit, faith, and daily determination, he defied every expectation and recovered fully — eventually running marathons and completing Spartan races. That same fighting spirit drives his campaign today.
