San Bernardino Republican Women are excited to welcome Don Wagner, who is running for California Secretary of State, to our March 14, 2026 general membership meeting at the Elks Lodge, 2055 Elks Drive, San Bernardino. The meeting will take place beginning at 11:30 am and wind up at 1:30 pm.
ABOUT DON WAGNER
Don Wagner has devoted over two decades to public service and conservative leadership in California. He currently serves on the Orange County Board of Supervisors, where he was elected Vice Chairman in 2022 and Chairman in 2023. During his tenure, he’s been recognized for delivering real results, from reopening Irvine Lake for public use to clearing a decades-old backlog of sexual assault evidence kits.
Before joining the Board of Supervisors, Don served as Mayor of Irvine (2016–2019), where he led the effort to complete the long-delayed development of the Great Park. From 2010 to 2016, he represented Orange County in the California State Assembly, where he served on key committees including Budget, Appropriations, Education, and as Vice Chair of the Judiciary Committee. Don began his elected public service as a Trustee of the South Orange County Community College District, serving from 1998 to 2010, including six years as Board President. During that time, he balanced every budget, paid off all district debt, and did so without raising taxes.
A practicing attorney, Don earned his law degree from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco. He founded his own law firm and served as a Judge Pro-Tempore in Orange County Superior Court. Don also established the OC Chapter of the Federalist Society, promoting constitutional principles and judicial integrity.
Throughout his career, Don has championed public safety, veterans’ causes, and responsible fiscal policy. He currently serves on numerous regional boards and commissions, bringing hands-on leadership to issues affecting everyday Californians. A cancer survivor, husband of over 40 years, father of three, and proud grandfather, Don brings a lifetime of experience, perseverance, and principled leadership to every role he takes on.
