SUMMARY:SBRW May\, 2024 General Membership Meeting with Redlands School Board Candidates
DESCRIPTION:San Bernardino Republican Women will be holding their General Membership Meeting May 25\, 2024 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Elks Lodge #836\, 2055 Elks Drive\, San Bernardino.  This month’s guests speakers will be Candidates running for seats on the Redlands School Board.  Speakers will include Lawrence Hebron\, candidate for Area 3\, Jeannette Wilson\, candidate for Area 4\, and Candy Olson\, candidate for Area 5. \n>> LUNCH RESERVATIONS <<\n  \nCANDIDATE BIOGRAPHIES\nJeannette Wilson:\nMy name is Jeannette Wilson. I have been married 44 years to the love of my life who is also a combat Marine. I am a 42-year resident of Mentone and Redlands. I hold a current license in clinical social work. I have a step daughter\, a granddaughter and just became a great grandma!  I retired in 2020 thinking it was time to relax after working in the field of private Foster Family agencies and teaching social work at CSUSB and other teaching opportunities. Then I started attending school board meetings and the rest is history. Here I am running for area 4 of the Redlands Unified School Board.\n\nCandy Olson:\nCandy Olson is running for the Redlands Unified School District school board Trustee Area 5. She is a Christian\, a wife\, mother to 5 kids\, and an ICU and ER RN at a trauma center.  For nearly three years now\, Candy has unsuccessfully made pleas to the RUSD board regarding decisions and practices she felt were in the students’ best interest. Therefore\, in order to produce change\, she has decided to run for office herself.  Candy is the leader of the Redlands chapter of SbCounty Patriots and the founder and Executive Director of the non-profit organization Awaken Redlands—a non-partisan group focused on preserving traditional values in our city and schools.\n\nLawrence Hebron: \nLawrence Paul Hebron draws on a diverse range of experiences to add depth and insight to his works and writings. The son of a bricklayer\, he worked his way up from being a menial laborer in construction to the president of a corporation. He is a Phi Beta Kappa scholar who has Bachelor’s degrees in History and Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He served as a tank officer in the United States Marine Corps. He has founded and directed both private businesses and public organizations. Hebron also has served as a teacher and church leader.  Married with two daughters\, Mr. Hebron is a committed Christian and Patriot — themes which are prominent in his writings. His books include: Solutions: Guidebook for Rebuilding America the Great AR2: Handbook for the Second American Revolution The Christian Patriot’s Primer on Separation of Church and State Islam Exposed: What You Need to Know About the World’s Most Dangerous Religion In the Beginning: Do You Remember Your First Conversation with God? AR2 Squared
