SUMMARY:Aug 8 SBRW Meeting with Moms for Liberty's Nicolle Young + 2 Redlands USD Candidates!
DESCRIPTION:The Saturday August 8\, 2026 general membership meeting of the San Bernardino Republican Women will be featuring three guest speakers:  Nicolle Young of Mom’s for Liberty\, Dale Broome and Maria Montes\, who are running for the Redlands Unified School Board.  The meeting will take place at the Elks Lodge\,  2055 Elks Dr.\, San Bernardino. \nMain Speaker: Nicolle Young – Moms for Liberty\nNicolle Young serves as the Kern County Chapter Chair for Moms for Liberty\, a national organization dedicated to parental rights a:nd education advocacy. Her commitment to ensuring the highest standards of academic excellence and transparency in education has positioned her as a leading voice in her community. In addition to state-level advocacy\, she actively collaborates with local school board trustees\, offering insight and support in the development of policies that prioritize academic achievement\, parental rights\, and student success. Her dedication to education reform and community engagement continues to drive her efforts to create meaningful change in California’s education system.\n \n\n2nd speaker: Dale Broome\nDale is a practicing physician in Redlands\, CA and 2026 candidate for Redlands Unified School Board Area 1. He is also a CAGOP delegate and an active member of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots and Awaken Redlands. Dale is passionate about getting California children a high-quality education and improving our district test scores and educational outcomes. As a long-time school board advocate\, he has also advocated for protecting girls’ sports and private spaces\, respecting parental rights\, removal of sexually-graphic books from school libraries and ending the teacher sex abuse scandal in RUSD. He also serves as the medical director for three pro-life pregnancy centers in the Inland Empire.\n\n \n3rd speaker: Maria Montes\nMaria Montes\, candidate for Redlands Unified School Board\, Area 2\, is a married mother of four\, a Paralegal\, and has worked in the legal field for over 20 years. As a busy mom with four children participating in club sports\, she understands the importance of balancing family\, education\, and community involvement.\n\n\n \nLUNCH RESERVATIONS\n\n\n \nWe will be selling tickets for our upcoming\n“Make California Safe Again” Fundraiser\nGun Auction\, which will take place during our\nChristmas Party in December.  Ask Karen\nContreras to sell you some auction tickets!
